Hi, I’m Sammie
I'm a product designer who approaches UX the way I approach songwriting — creative problem-solving within real constraints.
Before I started designing, I ran my own business as a wedding singer, which meant learning to listen closely to what people needed and delivering it under pressure on someone else's most important day. That instinct — listen first, then build with care — still guides how I approach design today.
I'm at my best when working closely with engineers and product managers — whether that's sketching net-new features together or building the design systems that let a team move fast without sacrificing consistency. I like to stay in the room until the strategy, the team, and the build are aligned.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my golden retriever, composing music, vibecoding, playing frisbee golf, fishing, relaxing with my three cats, or tending to my houseplants.
