Hi, I’m Sammie
I'm a product designer who thinks about UX the way I think about songwriting — creative problem-solving inside real constraints.
Before design, I had my own business as a wedding singer, which meant learning to listen closely to what people actually needed and delivering it under pressure, on someone else's most important day. That instinct — listen first, then build with care — is still how I approach design today.
I'm at my best working closely with engineers and product managers — whether that's sketching net-new features together or building the design systems that let a team move fast without losing consistency. I like to stay in the room until the strategy, the team, and the build are all pointing the same direction."
Outside of work you’ll find me: hiking with my golden retriever, writing music, vibecoding, playing frisbee golf, fishing, lounging with my three cats, or watering for all my houseplants.
