Audius • 2022 - 2025

Audius is a decentralized music streaming platform where artists can share content, grow their audience, and engage directly with fans.

Senior Product Designer • 05/2025 - 11/2025

Led high-impact creator and blockchain initiatives, driving the full UX cycle from discovery to launch. Balanced user needs, business goals, and on-chain technical constraints while partnering closely with engineering and product.

  • Designed the full Artist Coin Launchpad flow from wallet connection through coin creation and the first buy, exploring multiple UX approaches and aligning stakeholders around the final direction. Used Amplitude and Lyssna insights to achieve an ~83% completion rate and ~63% first-buy rate, and shipped over a dozen fast-follows that reduced early friction.

  • Enabled crypto-native users to transact with their existing funds by adding support for external wallets (Phantom, MetaMask, etc.). Designed clear flows for selecting a wallet, connecting it, and visualizing available token balances.

  • Redesigned the Audius Wallet as a financial portfolio with historical value tracking, navigating complex token-price logic and evolving engineering constraints.

  • Built a Figma plugin with Cursor using the Audius Bridge API to pull real artwork directly into mockups, speeding up my workflow and making stakeholder reviews more realistic.

  • Deepened fan discovery and engagement with the platform by rebuilding the Explore experience from the ground up. Restructured search logic and combined Search and Explore into a single curated discovery surface with dynamic, personalized content.

Product Designer 08/2022 - 05/2025

Brought structure and clarity to a previously fragmented workflow, improving collaboration between product, engineering, and design. Led creator and fan-facing features and improvements while establishing a scalable design system that accelerated development.

  • Built and launched the Harmony design system, setting up new Figma variables, tokens, and components and partnering with engineering through Storybook, ZeroHeight, and GitHub. Consolidated web and mobile around a single system and reduced development time by roughly 50%, eliminating guesswork and enabling faster, more consistent implementation.

  • Led a full redesign of Audius’ web navigation, partnering with engineering to build an AI-assisted implementation. Used atomic design to manage complex states and deliver a clear Dev Mode handoff that made implementation fast and easy.

  • Redesigned Audius’ sign-up experience based on a full usability testing initiative, from participant recruitment through facilitation, synthesis, and updated flows.

  • Led competitor analysis to define commenting patterns and engagement expectations, then designed the new comment feature across flows, interactions, and visuals, reaching SoundCloud parity and introducing supporter badges to highlight top fans.

  • Created a scalable “ways of working” system for Audius’ Figma organization, making files and components easy to discover across teams. Built a live source-of-truth file, cleaned outdated components, and audited the system using Figma’s Library Analytics.

  • Facilitated an offsite workshop with front-end engineering to build buy-in for a new design system, using presentations and hands-on activities to clarify benefits, gather feedback, and align on shared standards.

Bestow Life Insurance • 2019 - 2022

Bestow is a digital life insurance company providing instant, no-exam term coverage through a fully online underwriting experience.

Lead designer for the customer-facing policy management experience, owning complex insurance workflows and delivering improvements that made policy handling clearer, easier, and more intuitive. Partnered closely with engineering, product, compliance, and operations.

  • Redesigned the beneficiary allocation flow, creating an intuitive slider-based system for setting payout percentages and amounts.

  • Improved end-to-end policy management, simplifying how users navigate coverage, documents, and personal information across multiple touchpoints.

Designer for the full policy management lifecycle, shaping foundational experiences for coverage management, personal information updates, and policy details.

  • Designed Multiple Policy Management, enabling customers to manage multiple policies within one account — a major expansion of the product surface area.

  • Reduced high-volume support tickets by overhauling the policy-document experience, replacing a confusing multi-file system with a single, clear download.
